The traffic calming plan includes a 40/km/h speed limit for Taywood Drive Recently, Taywood Drive had a 40km/h speed limit installed to assess if traffic calming measures were warranted. Two automatic traffic counters recorded 24 hours a day, for 7 days to determine vehicular speed and volume. Based on the results Taywood Drive, between Turnberry Road and Milcorft Park Drive warrants the installation of traffic calming measures. The plan suggests the installation of two split speed humps with one optional split speed hump.

In the fall of 2015, Berton Avenue residents submitted several requests to install an all-way stop sign at the intersection of Berton Avenue and Addison Street. However, the proximity to the traffic signal at Walkers Line and Berton Avenue has the potential to cause congestion and queuing. To address the speeding concerns on Berton Avenue, staff recommended a split speed hump installation on Berton Avenue east of Addison Street. In addition, the existing rubber speed table on Berton Avenue has reached the end of its life cycle and will be replaced with a concrete split speed hump in fall 2016.
