Report Potholes in Burlington

Now that Spring officially arrives on Friday, March 20th and the ground thaws, you will notice many more potholes on the road.  Our city roads can be damaged from the weather conditions.

Potholes occur when snow and ice melt as part of seasonal freeze-thaw cycles.  The resulting water then seeps beneath the pavement through cracks which are caused by the wear and tear of traffic.

To ensure we keep our roads are safe for travel, we are asking residents to assist and report sightings of potholes on city streets at www.burlington.ca/pothole.

From the website, residents can also download an App for this service to their iPhone or Android and you are also able to view the locations of potholes already reported to the city.
