This shelter is a great example of the City of Burlington’s staff working with our residents and a local business to help fill a wish for our community. The residents, staff, and PetMax worked together to determine a need in the park and help to fill that requirement. Thank you to the owner of PetMax, Chuck Woodill.I had a great time at the grand opening of the new shelter at the Norton Leash Free Dog Park on July 9, 2016, with Chuck, Donna, Bryan from PetMax Canada, Mayor Goldring, Burlington Parks & Recreation Staff, and some furry friends.
