This also includes a return of 30 metres easterly along Longmeadow Road. The replacement is required due to the cracking and separation of the existing wall at the posts. The existing walls will be replaced with concrete noise walls at a minimum 3 metre height. Existing noise walls vary in height but average around 2.2 metres. This project also includes the replacement of noise walls on the west side of Guelph Line from Dundas Street to Coventry Way.

Timing for the work is currently scheduled for Spring 2016 with a completion in August.

The Public information meeting on April 5th provided the residents whose walls are being replaced with the opportunity to review the design and discuss the installation of the noise walls, 5 out of the affected 6 residents attended.
