Halton Police Launch Regional Project

Halton Regional Police Service have issued an announcement which aims to provide Burlington with traffic enforcement which focusses on locations that expose road users to the greatest risks.

On August 10, 2016 Millcroft area (bound by Dundas St. to the north, Upper Middle Rd. to the south, Appleby Line to the east, and Walkers Line to the west) will be patrolled.

This area had 109 incidents in the past 12 months, 3 injury collisions, 44 damage only collisions, 39 traffic complaints and 23 road watch complaints.

Police say their message is simple, “Help us to help your community by driving safely when traveling to or from home; your children or your neighbours children will be safer because of your decision”.
