Blair Lancaster the “History”

Blair Lancaster entered the Miss Burlington Pageant in the fall of 1973 and after winning the pageant went on to become Miss Canada 1974.

After an extensive year travelling as Miss Canada she decided to open a school to teach women and teenagers how to develop a sense of self and become more confident. The school became a tremendous success and the ciricullum was expanded to include modelling courses. Blair ran the school, agency and co-ordinated special events and fashion shows.

In 1980 Blair purchased a day spa called “Studio 2000″. She expanded the services to include Spa Days, complete esthetics, medical esthetics as well as spiritual and emotional healing. The name was changed to Blair Lancaster Spa & Modelling Agency in 1983.

We are celebrating 35 years in business in 2009.

Blair has always been dedicated to supporting the community and has contributed to hundreds of local charities by coordinating events & fashion shows as well as supporting groups with gift certificates and donations.

She has been awarded the Zonta Humanitarism Award, Cogeco Community Award and Halton Woman of the Year to name a few.

During the the past 12 years Blair has been dedicated to supporting Breast Cancer Support Services in Burlington and is currently the Executive Director as well as the owner/manager of the spa and modelling agency.

The spa and agency is now located in a beautiful turn of the century home at 1437 Elgin St. above Wigsville.
